This unique area offers various pleasurable activities, including boating, fishing, diving, snorkeling, or just sitting by our picturesque rivers.  There is bike-riding, hiking, or skating along the trails and paths within Citrus and the adjoining counties.  Motorcyclists can take great pleasure in the miles and miles of scenic roads.

Quail Roost is a bird watcher's paradise, with over 30 species commonly seen in and around the campground.  And for the really avid birding pro, there are nearly 300 species in the area!  We are only minutes away from a number of Great Florida Birding Trails.  See www.floridabirdingtrail.com for more information.

Like to shop?  The Crystal River Mall is five miles away, with other shopping areas and restaurants nearby.  There are many, many Flea markets to choose from, and we have a SuperWalmart in Dunnellon, with another larger one just a short drive to West Ocala.  More malls, shopping areas, and any restaurant chain you can think of is an easy ride on country roads to Ocala.
